We are located on the corner of Baltimore Street and Lakewood Avenue, directly across the street from Patterson Park.
St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church is one of the most beautiful houses of worship in the city of Baltimore. Romanesque in design, it stands a structure with grandeur and dignity. The cornerstone was laid on July 13, 1895, and 99 years later, the church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.
We celebrated the 100th Anniversary of our church in 2011 with a special mass and neighborhood festival. The addition of our bells in 2016 brought music to the neighborhood of Patterson Park.
An active and growing community in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, the priests and parishioners at St. Elizabeth of Hungary strive to live out a truly vibrant and faith-filled Sacramental life, keeping always the mystery of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist as the source and summit of our worship. We invite you to learn more about us on this website, to look us up and “Like” us on Facebook, and to come celebrate Mass with us on Sunday.
